Yvonne Weiss (b. 1993) is a multidisciplinary Canadian artist living and working in Guelph, Canada. Weiss’s work spans across mediums and materials and explores themes of spirituality, religion, morality, and the social roles of both the individual and collective. Weiss has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions at Janey (Cambridge, Canada), Future Fair (New York, US), Elsewhere Fair (Philadelphia, US), Art Toronto (Toronto, Canada), and Ground Floor Arts (Guelph, Canada). Weiss’s work is inspired by religious iconography and symbolism from the medieval and Gothic traditions and her work reinterprets these visual languages through an esoteric and contemporary lens. She is represented by Janey.
