Julie Liger Belair - "Ad-Lib" | amcecreativearts

Julie attended the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Canada (now OCAD University) where she studied printmaking, photography, illustration and metalsmithing.  These interdisciplinary studies guided her towards a focus in mixed media that combines these disciplines in a coherent body of work. Around the same time, she began collecting Victorian-era photographs also known as cabinet cards.  These ultimately became the “seeds” of her current imagery. Julie lives in Toronto and works in her garage/studio where she sometimes allows her husband, three children and little black dog Frida, to visit.
