Hibiki was born in New York City, and she spent most of her young adult years in Western Massachusetts in a derelict 1970’s ski lodge in the country, drawing compulsively and trying to avoid math homework. She studied printmaking at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Hibiki has exhibited across the United States and her work is held in prominent collections including Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland Art Museum, and the Hallie Ford Museum. She currently lives and works in Portland, OR.
